Video Game Hero - With a site as professional as this do we even care if the game is any good? Erm yes, yes we do
Wow, blogging on two seperate Nintendo DS homebrew guiter hero clones withing two days seems a bit much. But stubling on Video Game Hero, how could I not. Even if you don’t play homebrew, you have to check out the website anyway, it is a very professional design. This is one of those rare releases not done by someone with more pimples than presentation. Head over their now, it is free you know!
Some of the tracks include Final Fantasy, Mario and Donkey Kong (And Gaina Sisters, which I found bizarre) and a few classical and pop culture songs, such as “White Wedding”.

Looks cool! Nice site too.
I agree
Thanks for the great feedback – makes it all worthwhile… and yes… it helps being out of the “pimple age” and having done a “few games” in the past – doing homebrew for the fun of it.
No Problem, and the Ds homebrew scene has seen it’s fair share of rubbish and abandoned projects. Fun is of coarse the most important part of any game design related project, I dabble in ROM hacking and RPGMXP myself. Good luck in the future, I’ll be rooting for you.
Also, I’m glad to see the website back online, I feared the Slashdot effect could last longer.
A new version [including 10 new songs] and some bugfixes is now available on http://www.videogameshero.com.
There is also a 1.5MB patch for those who already enjoy the game.
Have fun!
Thanks for letting everyone know Spriteattack, maybe you could provide a list of all existing songs on your webpage, and perhaps a blog with RSS?
The leaderboard shows all the existing songs… and honestly I lag the time for a proper blog atm…
Yea this one is definitely a clone of sorts…Game is definitely NOT good.
@nintendo roms Eh? For someone who has association with a SNES rom site you don’t make much sense. Frets on Fire is a clone but with the right hardware I get more fun out of it than the commercial GH games. Your tone also sounds like you haven’t even given the game a go yet?
i real enjoy all gianasisters. & i want u 2 pick it up.
